  • All portraits are painted on 5”x7” premium watercolor paper and packaged in a clear plastic sleeve for protection.

  • All collections include an assistant to assist with guest interaction, guest flow, and photo taking.

My Signature Style

My style is all about that clean, modern vibe. I keep it minimalist and faceless, and focus more on the the guest’s attire, hairstyle, hair color, and skin tones. Each figure is drawn with fashion-inspired proportions, meaning they’re a little longer and leaner than real life, giving them that chic, editorial feel!

How It Works

  • I’ll arrive one (1) hour prior to contracted paint time. Earlier if needed!

  • We’ll take photos of your guests to use for reference.

  • They enjoy the rest of the event, and I’ll paint them throughout the evening.

  • I can paint one guest in about 3-4min.—about 16-20 guests per hour.

  • Once finished, I’ll package and lay them out on a table for guests to pickup.

  • Any additional portraits can be completed back in the studio.

  • These portraits will be sent to you within two weeks of the invoice being paid.

  • Any additional portraits exceeding guaranteed count are $45 each.

  • Optional $5/additional portrait—I'll mail directly to each guest so you don’t have to.

Every portrait that is completed gets scanned and formatted into a keepsake poster—you in the middle surrounded by everyone else’s portrait, and finished off with your names + wedding date on the bottom!

The digital poster is already included in your package, and you have the option to purchase a framed copy from me!

  • Bowtie & Brush offers unique live guest portrait and fashion illustration services that not only serve as entertainment during your wedding but also provide you with a lasting keepsake of your special day or event.

  • Washougal, WA. Just 30 minutes outside of Portland.

  • I offer flat travel fees for local events and many popular destinations across the country, so you can get a clear idea without a bunch of back-and-forth.

    For local celebrations, this typically covers mileage and gas, and for destination events it may include gas/mileage or airfare, lodging (usually 1 night for longer drives/West Coast locations and 2 nights for longer flights), plus a per diem for food and incidentals.

    You’ll see the exact travel fee when you select your region on my inquiry form. If your destination isn’t listed—or if it’s international—a custom travel quote will be required.

  • I require from you/the enue:

    • at least one 4-6ft table with linen

    • 1-2 chairs

    • access to an electrical outlet

    • access to water

    • reliable wi-fi

    If the event is outside during the day time, I must be stationed in a covered area.

  • You will need to pay a 30% non-refundable retainer upon the signing/receipt of the contract. The remainder will be due two weeks prior to your event.
